Reaching the Community

Hardknock Productions was established in 2004 aimed at representing young people who find it difficult to access creative arts projects in their community. We recognise that young people are growing up in an ever changing and increasingly challenging society, and believe in the arts capacity to change lives and empower through a creative shared experience.

'Labelled was performed in my school to a group of 60students aged 11-14. The students were riveted throughout. The following workshop continued to engage and some quite adult themes of behavior and emotion explored by cast and students. i really think this experience is a valuable chance for these children to examine cause and effect, right speech right action in a topic which sadly is a reality for many young adults'
